Silesauri are more attributable to reptiles rather than early dinosaurs. However, more than 20 fossils found, puts silesauri among dinosauromorpha.

Silesauri remind of the dinosaurs form the archosauria classification. These dinosaurs are relatively small, agile and light. There is a theory that they used to feed on the remains, left by other predator dinosaurs.

Due to inability to defend themselves, they used to live in flocks. They might have been able to climb trees, making some scientists think that they should be classified as ornithischia.
